Franke Monday, a.k.a Elizabeth London, is a Boston born, visual artist, with a focus in photography and multi-media installations. London explores the realms of photography by examining the power and agency of feminism in today’s world. While also addressing environmental issues, it is these two subjects which have compelled her to create, question, and examine the societal structures in today’s society through the medium of photography. Furthering this process London draws deeply from her personal life and experiences through the creation of her multi media installations which gravitate towards exploring the connectivity of the human experience . She continues to push and explore her boundaries as an artist and has been lucky to have had her work shown in the greater Boston area, and in New York City, where she currently resides.
